Profile: IUSB Student Activities Center
The Student Activites Center (SAC) at IUSB is the facility with the gym, tracks, weight room, and social place on the campus at IUSB. In this documentary, the focus would be the history: when the SAC was built, when it got new floors, etc. With pictures I have seen, the SAC has come a long way. The school has invested a lot of money into the SAC and I would love to interview people on their favorite activities that the SAC holds.
Profile: Amanda Troyer and the Bethel Pilots VB Team
In this documentary, my focus would be on the Bethel College Volleyball team and my sister, Amanda Troyer. Bethel College is in Mishawaka, IN. I would focus on the journey of their season and the emotions of Amanda's senior year. I would like to interview the head coach, Kevin, the seniors, and some of the players and what they have to say about the team and the seniors.
Profile: Krystle Troyer
In this documentary, the focus would be my sister, Krystle. Krystle loves to be around kids all the time. She studies Elementary Education and cannot wait to be a teacher next Spring. The focus would be on her and how she handles school, extracurricular activities, and where she finds her classroom lessons for planning. I would like to interview her with some kids and ask the kids who are around her the most about Krystle to see what they would say.
Melanie, I really like your idea to do a documentary on your sister and her path in volleyball while exploring her emotions and obstacles she overcomes. Great idea!
ReplyDeleteGood profiles. The volleyball and SAC profiles have the most focus. The doc with your sister would be better if she were already a teacher and you could spend time in her classroom.
